Hi there,

I would like to create a DOM with the following columns: price, bids (passive), asks (passive), recent bid and ask transactions, volume profile sell (active transactions), volume profile buy (active transactions, and volume profile delta (the difference of the previous 2.

I have followed some tutorials and suggestions on this site and added a volume-by-price study comparing the difference between the volume sell and buy profiles. The delta volume profile created, however, does not reflect the algebraic difference of the volume buy and sell profiles (refer to image).

Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Hi,
My guess is your Delta VbP study isn't synchronized with your current traded volume columns.
To synchronize both, you need to reset them at the same time.

You can reset manually the current traded volume columns with a keyboard shortcut (Global settings : Customize keyboard shortcuts).
You can reset manually the Delta VbP study using the Volume by price reset button study :
Volume By Price Reset Button

If you want the VbP study and the current traded volume columns to reset automaticaly at a periodic interval :
- for the VbP study, set Volume graph period type (ln:33) : One period from most recent period start to end
Then set the Time period type for "fixed time" and time period length for "fixe time" to whatever you need.

- for the current traded volume columns you can use the Custom Study created by Svltan available here :
Clear/Reset Pulling/Stacking Data via ACSIL

This custom study works very well and allow you to reset the Recent traded and Current traded volume collumn at a periodic interval.
I modified the study to add the option to reset the Bid/Ask Pull Stack columns.
I'm waiting for Sierra Chart support to add an ACSIL function to re-recenter the DOM so I can add this option to the study made by Svltan.
I'll share the custom study once it's done.
