Hello I am traveling with my PC and I changed PC time zones to local time ( Kyrgyzstan) for accuracy as I am going to stay in this zone for a while. But my message log says that there is a delay of 1 sec. I also kept a region to Canada to keep all apps for local content as I am Canadian. The question is if region is different then local time zone will it cause a delay of 1 sec? Also I use a sub instance and message log on my sub instance does not show a delay. How accurate is it? Can sub instance be faster then main program? Sub instance has same data service as main program. Thank you in advance |

Perfectly fine to use whatever time zone you want on your computer. You can set an independent time zone within Sierra Chart: Time Zone Setting The delay you are seeing is just a difference in your computer's clock to the clock that is used by the exchange. A delay time of 1 second is not an issue. If you have any issues with an apparent delay, use the NTP feature to set your computer clock: Network Time Protocol Client For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
