Which charts within which chartbooks do we need to look at? What item are we supposed to look at for the pVa on those charts? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We do not see any blue rectangle with a gray dash. Where is this in the image? And which chart is it in (the one on the left or the one on the right). We do see orange labels for the pVAH and pVAL in the image on the left. Please give us just a single chart image that has nothing but the pVA showing on it. And we need to know why you think it is incorrect. What exactly is wrong? What are you comparing it against? What values are you expecting and where are you getting those values from? Labels for pVAH - pVAL are orange on the picture I sent you before. But there's also a rectangle (blue) and dash lines (gray) See at the new attached image how is the pVA shown. |

We see the lines and labels for the pVAH and pVAL. But we do not understand why you are stating that these are incorrect. What are you comparing to? Why are they wrong?

Attached here the chartbooks once again, see the issue doesn't happen every day so you probably have to go through some days to see a difference.

We need to know the exact chart numbers within each chartbook that we need to compare.

On chartbook ES24 you need to look at the Trigger ETH graph number #1 On chartbook HA+Daily+TPOs+DVAs+ADR at ES graph number #2 |

The first issue we see is that your Session Times are incorrect for these charts. You have the following: Trigger ETH: - Start Time: 08:30:00 - End Time : 15:00:00 - Evening Start Time: 17:00:00 - Evening End Time: 15:59:59 ES: - Start Time: 08:30:00 - End Time: 14:59:59 - Evening Start Time: 17:00:00 - Evening End Time: 16:00:00 You need to set the RTH End Time to be 1 second prior to the actual end of the period you want. The chart for ES is setup correctly for this, so you need to change the Trigger ETH to match. The Evening Session needs to go from the end of the RTH to the beginning of the RTH (you could build in the 1 hour break for the ES if you want, but it really does not matter). So your Evening Session Times should be the following: - Evening Start Time: 15:00:00 - Evening End Time: 08:29:59 Make sure these are set properly and then see if you have an issue with the pVAL and pVAH. Problems remain after session times change. Chartbooks modified attached. I reccomend checking 8th oF January 2025 on both chartbooks to see the problem. |

If that is with the corrected Session Times, then get us the Chartbooks again so we can take a further look.

Your most recent charts still have the wrong Session Times. We can not look into this issue any further until you get us chartbooks that have the following: - Correct Session Times per what we stated in post #13 - A single chart in each chartbook. - That single chart with just the minimum studies required in order to show the issue. Do not include any studies that are not required to show the issue. In other words, it should just be the Volume by Price study on each chart, but you may need the Heikin-Ashi study as well since that will impact the bars. The "Sierra 2.Cht" file has a chart with a Bar Period of 2500 Volume, whereas the "Sierra 1.Cht" has chart with a Bar Period of 3000 Volume. This will produce different results in the Volume Value Areal Lines studies. Value area is configured at 70%. The timeframe of the chart shouldn’t change pVA

There is something about the data for January 7, 2025 that is causing an issue, but we do not know what it is. When the Bar Period is set the same (3000 Volume or 2500 Volume) the charts match up exactly, but when the bar periods are different (one is 3000 Volume and one is 2500 Volume) that date of January 7, 2025 gives a different result. We looked at the items that could possibly cause this, such as "New Bar at Session Start" and "Split Data Records", but these are set the same in all cases, so these are not the issue. There were some additional differences in the charts that could cause differences, but surprisingly, these did not resolve the issue. In particular, the following: - Continuous Futures Contract Type: One chart was set to Date Rule Rollover Back Adjusted, and the other was set to Volume Based Rollover Back Adjusted - Dates to Exclude: the excluded dates were not the same.
