Two things to do: 1. If you are running any anti-malware software, disable it. 2. Instead of opening a Chartbook, open a single Intraday chart through File >> New/Open Intraday Chart. Do you have any difficulty with that.? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. 1. no, no malwere soft is running 2. yes, i can open a single simple chart, but not the chartbooks i work with. i use three chartbooks where about 10 charts and volume indicators are used, and these cannoth be opened... may it be caused with the fact there is the need for rolover for a new month contract and the sierra is overwhelming? No it could not be this.We are not sure what the problem is. The only thing we can recommend for you in the short term is to create a new Chartbook. You can attach the problem Chartbook here and we will test it later today. We see no problem loading the first Chartbook you have posted. It loads in less than five seconds even under a debugger. It does take more time than that for the Intraday chart data to load but that is done on background threads. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. We suspect that it is a system issue on your side. If you are having trouble opening the Chartbook you will have to rebuild a new one and we recommend reducing the Days to Load in the charts as explained in help topic 30: Http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails30.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Make sure you copy that file over when Sierra Chart is not running.

The global color settings are held in Sierra3.CFG. If Sierra Chart is working in the Program Files folder, then that is fine. Really cannot comment anymore on that.
