Hello Sierra team, I have encountered an problem regarding my chart watch list display. It can help a lot to fix as it causes problems. I have multiple charts on at a given time. I have my DOM set on NQ and my and my trading execution on MNQ. The issue is that, when I use multiple charts the chart last clicked on will show on my main watch list symbol on the control bar. Sometimes this creates problems because the chart I wanted to trade was not the chart intended because I clicked on the other screens and once I came to execute I executed on the screen that had a different symbol. Is there a way to have the watch-list on my control bar pinned to its respective ticker so that it does not change regardless of which chart i click on. Thanks |

We are not quite following the issue. We want to point out that the "Watch List" item on the Control Bar is going to reflect the Watch List for the currently active chart. Each chart has its own watch list. If having a single watch list item in the control bar that changes as you change charts is a problem, then we would recommend using the "Control Bar - Chart" option where you can attach a control bar to an individual chart that is attached to the main Sierra Chart window. A detached chart can have a regular control bar attached to it that only affect that window, so the Control Bar - Chart option is not needed for those. In this case, the watch list that is showing will only be for that chart, as that control bar is only for that chart. Hopefully this will take care of the issue you are having. If not, then please give us some additional information on the workflow that you are wanting to use where the Control Bar watch list is not working for you. I understand that each chart has its own watchlist, but the issue arises when I have multiple charts open. For example, let’s say I have NQ on one chart and MNQ on another. When I click on the MNQ chart, the watchlist symbol in the control bar for the NQ chart also changes to MNQ. However, when I place a trade, it executes for NQ instead of MNQ. This can cause confusion because I see the MNQ symbol at the top of the watchlist, but it switches to NQ when the trade is executed. Would removing the watchlist altogether be a better approach to avoid such errors? |

Are these attached charts or detached charts?

One of them is attached and the other one is detached on a separate monitor. specifically the chart I execute the trade is the attached one.

I went ahead and switched to control bar- chart for my attached window and the issue of the symbol change is fixed now so when I clock on a detached chart the symbol does not change. Thank you |
