What are the recommended values for chart update intervals in ms? Especially with the "FESX" I noticed that the data is updated with a time delay. Here is what I had on my system (never changed) Chart update interval = 1000 ms Quote board update = 1500 ms I reduced the values to 400 and 800. Is this okay for you or what values would you recommend? The chartbook is currently working fine with the new values. Many thanks |

We really can not give a recommendation, as there are too many factors that go into this, including a personal "feel" for the updates in the chart. What we can say is that 400 and 800 are perfectly reasonable and if these work for you, then great. The only other we can say is that if you want to use a very low interval, then you should keep that for as few charts as you can. So you would perhaps want only 1 or 2 charts at a low interval (less than 100) and keep other charts at a more reasonable level (such as 400).
