I am planning to purchase Sierra Chart Service Package 11 and would like a data feed for CME since I will only be trading the S&P 500. However, I want to purchase a low-cost data feed, specifically the one for non-professional traders. Do I need to have a live funded trading account first before I can purchase the low-cost data feed? I currently have $50 with a broker called AMP Futures. Is that sufficient? Additionally, do I need to purchase the Sierra Chart Service Package 11 first before I can buy the data feed? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-01-02 15:54:53

It does not matter the order in which you set things up, but you will NOT be able to get any real-time data for the CME Group from our Denali Exchange Data Feed until you connect your Sierra Chart software to your live, funded, futures trading account. I currently have $50 with a broker called AMP Futures. Is that sufficient?
We can not say. It depends on how AMP views that account. If it is considered a valid account with them, then it is sufficient. But if the account is not considered valid, then it will not work. Additionally, do I need to purchase the Sierra Chart Service Package 11 first before I can buy the data feed?
It really do not matter the order in which you do this, but you should be on one of the "Integrated" packages first and then setup the data. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
