I am having an issue with chart linking and hoping you will consider an update. I have nine charts. All of the charts are linked via Link #2. All of the charts have the Sub Category Type "Link Symbol" checked. (When I change the symbol I want all the charts to use the same symbol.) Three of the charts also have the Sub Category Type "Link Bar Period" checked. (I want the studies on these three charts to reference the same bar periodicity.) The issue is this: Whenever I change the bar period on ANY of the charts, all three of my charts tagged with "Link Bar Period" change to that new bar period. I realize this is how the system is currently set up to operate. However, I do not want the bar period on my trigger chart to change simply because I adjusted a longer time frame chart, such as changing a 5 minute chart to show me 15 minute bars. I do want those charts linked with respect to the Symbol. And I do want my Trigger chart linked to the other two charts I have set to link bar period. I understand WHY it is happening. I'm asking/suggesting changes be made to stop it from happening. We can currently only use one Link # per chart. Perhaps allowing us to use more than one would solve this issue. Perhaps making a change whereby only those charts tagged as "Link Bar Period" get updated when another chart tagged with the same Sub Category gets changed. Thanks for your consideration. |

I wanted to follow up and ask what you thought the time line might be on this. Thank you. |
