Hi For some reason i am not able to download as much data as i would like for my intraday charts. If i set my timeframe to Daily or above then chart is changing to historical and this is fine i can see back for years. However when my timeframe is less then daily 4h 1h etc then chart is auto set to Intraday Chart and i can only load data for whatever is set on Date range in file from which is auto set to 2024-12-11 ( as of writing this message ). So no matter what settings i have for Data limiting method if date range or number of days to load with date range from and days to load for intraday chart set higher it will not show back more than 2024-12-11. If i select number of days to load and set days to load to 5 then i only get 5 days of data...so going lower its fine. I tried new chartbook, new symbol, delete all data, redownload, continous futures contract back adjusted, None Continous contract.....i have same behaviour. I just switched from delayed denali data to cqg data from AMP broker but i don't understand this behaviour. Any idea what could be? or it's just normal? Being on delayed data i was able to load as much as i would liked. I cannot set Date range in file from higher than 20 days. I attach how it looks. Thank you |

I found many other threads saying about cqg performance. I can switch back to teton however my initial issue was that i am not able to use cme and eurex with the same broker account. Having 2 accounts means i have to fund both of them with enough funds to justify the risk rewards settings i use. Its a bit dissapointing that no teton eurex integrations. However if for Eurex i have to use amp/cqg will i get into same data limit problem explain initially? |

However all this issues with cqg are present with other trading software or it's just how SierraChart is designed? Just asking because i find it difficult that cqg will perform so poorly and still be available in so many software platforms.

The only issue you have raised regarding CQG is with historical data but that historical data is not coming from CQG and we see now that you are using a continuous contract. If there is any missing data, refer to: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data The Date Range in File that you see is not relevant with a Continuous Futures Contract chart. Let us know if you need more help with the chart. But there should not be any issue. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Its ok. I switched back to Teton. I understand reasons for the level of work and for who is designed SC but you know people would not mind having also a web/mobile version graph chart just for cancelling or put simple orders or just monitoring. I really think SC should start develop one and assume the costs ( maybe same with eurex ). Anyway i am sure it's a well thought decision and for the moment it's not worth* to have such thing.
