Hi, I had recently an issue with my 2nd instance after just copying to Sierra4 and Accounts4 config files to 2nd instance folder: [User Discussion] - SIM account illustrated twice in Trade window / Activity log doubles position. I have still the same issue with other tasks due to manually copying the upper config files. I wanted to delete the time alerts in my 2nd instance, as I have the same on the 1st instance and hear them twice. So I deleted them on the 2nd one. After restarting both instances they are again activated as they were in the 1st instance before. Also I changed a control bar setting on the 2nd instance. Again.. after restarting it was as in the 1st instance again. It seems to copy everything from the 1st instance over and over again. I have read that the global settings are in this config files, but I also read that from the moment this files are in the subinstance folders as with me: C:\SierraChart\SierraChartInstance_2 they act independently. I want to stick with the subinstance without a complete new installation. And I also want to be able to copy all my settings to my subinstance when setting up the 2nd instance the first time. But how to keep them separately from then on? Is there another way as to copy the configs than manually to subfolder ..Instance_2? Many thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-12-31 10:45:38
