Had moved from historical daily chart to Intra-day chart, as it was more accurate..,but now I see the closing(last) price is incorrect. For $NVDA, the last price is quoted at 139.62. Reload & Recalculate and Delete/Download data doesnt help. Studies like "Daily OHLC" on the intra-day chart, also showing incorrect closing price. It is 140.22 on other platforms(ThinkorSwim, barchart , Dastrader, IBKR , Tradingview). pls advise.. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-12-26 16:26:52

Sorry, not understanding how is this fixing the issue with closing price on Intraday Daily chart. Reason I had moved away from historical daily chart is issues with High/Low ( which Intra-day chart fixed for me) ..pls see this thread earlier Daily Candle: $NVDA's low-of-day today But now, the intraday chart seems to have issue with Closing price, but the historical daily chart has the correct closing value of 140.22. so we need to use historical daily chart for accurate closing price and intra-day daily chart for accurate Hi/Low!? Doesnt seem optimal. |

You would need to ensure that the Session Times for the Intraday chart cover the exact same times that the historical daily data is covering. Otherwise the two sets of data are not going to align. You would need to check with the exchange to get these specific times. For a historical daily chart, I thought the session times dont apply and cant be adjusted. But in any case, the Intraday session times( 9:30:00 - 16:00:00) match between the charts and is the same provided by the exchange(Nasdaq).

Correct. The Daily Historical data does not allow for Session Times to be adjusted. Therefore, you would need to ensure that the times that you are using for your Intraday chart matches to the times that the exchange is using to formulate their daily data. We do not know if NASDAQ uses an 09:30 - 16:00 time for their daily data. You would need to check with NASDAQ on this.
