I updated to latest version 2725 I noticed two things. 1) Global Settings>Graphic Settings-Global>Chart Rollover Date Line I changed the default Color,Width,Line Style (from grey/1/dot to white/6/dash) . It only changed my Daily charts, whereas my 1 min charts retained the default colors and wont change. I tried it in each Chart thinking I had to be in that chart instead of it applied Globally, but no change to 1 minute charts. 2) I sent a question before to Support regarding the Rollover date. I was told its the day before the third Friday, and that it wont change. I have my charts set to "Continuous Futures Contract - Date Rollover Rule" The date (currently MAR 25) and line is at Sunday 12/15 18:00. So it did change from day before third Friday? |

1. We do not observe this. There are two graphics settings window. One that is global and one for specific individual charts. Refer to: Graphics Settings: Introduction Make sure you are using the correct one for the chart. 2. The current rule for CME stock index futures is as follows: 4 calendar days before the 3rd Friday of the contract month.

Thank you, the first one worked once I used the non-Global. The second one, I wish originally the term "never change" hadn't been used, bc that was obviously incorrect. (see comment 2023-12-15 post #5, from Sierra_Chart Engineering) Regardless, there was something else I noticed on this version. It is only on the daily (not 1 min in my case) Those lines/dates for Rollover date we were referring to above? The current MAR 25 shows fine on 12/15. Well, if I have the amount of days to load set to say, 15 days, the Rollover line/date still shows up for the previous Rollover (SEPT 24 in this case) on the far left candle (back 15 days in this example) I switched to more days and it still shows up on the most far left candle, even if not back to the actual Rollover date. Not a big thing, but obviously it should only be on the actual date every three months, and not showing up if the days loaded don't go back to the actual date. Hope this helps. Regards |

The solid vertical white lines mark Rollover days according to "Show Rollover Dates" 12-15 Rollover Day=ok The 11-20 vertical white line is incorrect as the previous Rollover was 9-16. Its not that its attached to that date, just the most left bar if I actually didn't go back to the previous Rollover date (ie:Load ~90 days) On this chart, I only have 33 days loaded. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1734972138854.png |

If the rollover Date in the chart is not correct, then disable custom symbol settings: Global Symbol Settings: Disabling Custom Symbol Settings And download the last two contract months: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
