Spreadsheet does not upload an indicator data

Hi SC Team,
I use the Spreadsheet study, and the data from a number of indicators is not uploaded into the spreadsheet, resulting into having empty columns that contain only Heading and ID number - no data. Clicking "Chart Reload and Recalculate" does not change anything. The indicators are based of a "Spreadsheet formula" study and application of Expon. MA to them. That said, the same combo works in other instances. Am I doing anything wrong? Are there limitations that oi am not aware of? Thank you for replying and providing a recommendation!

One reason a "Spreadsheet Formula" would not have the information showing in a Spreadsheet Study would be if the Subgraph was specifically set to not display in the Spreadsheet Study. Refer to the following setting to check for this:
Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Include in Spreadsheet

Another possibility is that Subgraph is set to "Ignore" and the Spreadsheet Study is not set to bring in those items. Refer to the following:
Spreadsheet Study Inputs: Do Not Output Subgraphs Set To Ignore

Hi John, thanks for replying quickly! I believe there is misunderstanding. It is the spreadsheet study that does not pull data from the spreadsheet formula, so the respective columns are not populated. All affected formulae appear on the chart in their respective regions - no problem. I just confirmed that the "Include in spreadsheet" boxes are checked for both tabs in all affected studies, including the SG tab. I do not know if this is important, but when I replay the chart, the spreadsheet is populated perfectly. I hope the right numbers are calculated though, as I replayed at 960 speed - to see if the spreadsheet will be populated. It took me 1.5 hour to replay the entire ES contract data at that speed and populate the spreadsheet, but it is time-consuming... Also, the spreadsheet is populated properly during the "live" trading - simulation mode. Are there any limitation (like too many indicators, too much to calculate, etc.) that I need to be aware of? Any possible conflicts? How unique is this case?

It is the spreadsheet study that does not pull data from the spreadsheet formula

This was our understanding. This is why we told you to look at the Subgraphs of the "Spreadsheet Formula" to ensure they are set to allow the Spreadsheet study to display the information.

but when I replay the chart, the spreadsheet is populated perfectly...Also, the spreadsheet is populated properly during the "live" trading - simulation mode.

This has us confused. When exactly is the Spreadsheet Study not showing the subgraphs from the Spreadsheet Formula study?

Sorry for making it vague. When I look into a historical intraday chart (previous contract, ESU2024 to be precise), it is not uploading the data, but not for every indicator. I tried to reload, recalculate and reload, change the volume per chart (I use volume charts) - does not help. However, on the same historic contract, when replaying the chart, it works... I thought that maybe it is too calculations intensive, but I have a gaming laptop. Plus it works on other indicators.... Does anything come to mind, or maybe any recommendations? Many thanks!

This makes no sense at all. The data should either be there or not. It definitely should not be there only during a replay.

How many studies do you have on the chart? Are any of them set to not display the subgraph information in the spreadsheet by having the option for "Include in Spreadsheet" not enabled?

The order of the studies in the Spreadsheet Study is going to match the order of the studies in the "Studies to Graph" list. Please look at the list of studies in "Studies to Graph" and then look at the studies in the Spreadsheet. The name of the study is in Row 1 with the subgraphs in Row 2. Let us know what specific studies are not showing in the Spreadsheet and where it is in the order on the Studies to Graph list.

One other thing to check, although it really should not have an impact in this case, is that the Spreadsheet Study is at the bottom of the list of studies to graph. If not, then please move it all the way to bottom and see if you continue to have an issue.

If you still have an issue after this, then we need to see an image of what you are seeing.

The issue has been resolved on its own, can't repeat it anymore - have no explanation. Thank you for your support!

This sounds like a Study Calculation Precedence issue. Refer to:
