In Sierra, there is a tool called the, 'extending rectangle tool'.

I was wondering if this tool could be used together with an automated trading spreadsheet.
I know yall have a horizontal lines tool, which can accomplish this.
Unfortunately, Setting the price levels by typing in numbers, is extremely difficult.
I feel like, drawing an extending rectangle by eye, would be so much faster and easier.

Have yall ever added anything like this before?

You can reference drawing tool anchors and (for some) the value at a certain point through Alerts. Refer to the following:
Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing Chart Drawings

As such, you can use the "Spreadsheet Formula" study to get that value into a subgraph to then use it in the Spreadsheet Study. To do this, you would enter the following for the formula in the Spreadsheet Formula:
=UDID[1].A1

Where 1 is the actual ID of the drawing and A1 is the first anchor.

The Spreadsheet Formula will then be in the Spreadsheet Study along with other studies. You can reference the cells in the study, but it is best to reference the subgraph using the following method:

The ability to reference drawings through an Alert has been in the system for several years, perhaps has long as 5 years now.
