I have SC from Infinity like ATchart.
I can not open earlier contract months than only current.
If I want to join NQU4 + NQZ4 in join intraday data files then can not modify these data. I cannot join and modify NQU4, and NQZ4.
Is ATchart limited on features from the full version number 3 - from your site?
Or something needs to be set in ATChart I can open and edit older data?
Thank you for help.

What version of Sierra Chart are you running?

You should have no trouble at all opening previous futures contracts.

Refer to help topic 42.2 here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails42.html

You also do not need to join files. You only need to use the Continuous Users Contract feature:

When I join data, then SC write:

JoinData: Failed to open the temporary output file. Failed to open file C:\SierraChart\SierraChartTransActMA\Data\JoinData.NQU4-1.scid.temp to replace it. Error: | 2014-09-14 14:01:06 *
JoinData: Join complete. No records were read. Nothing was written to NQU4-1.scid. | 2014-09-14 14:01:06

Where is problem?

Are you having a problem only when you try to join Intraday data files or opening a chart for an expired futures contract?

The problem with joining Intraday data files has been resolved. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Prerelease.

And also we strongly recommend using the Continuous Futures Contract feature. The Intraday data joining method is out of date .
