Hi, Sierra Chart has been really slow, and lagging after the latest update. My default global chart update interval was 100ms, I changed it to 800 and now 1000ms. Still when I change time/bar periods or move the y axis scale, or even while navigating to a particular timestamp....the window just freezes (Not Responding) for as many as 10+ seconds. It has been really difficult to work with this. Tried going back to older version but right click options just vanished and show up as blank big textbox. So reverted back to current version. Can you please help? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-12-13 08:24:30

I had exactly the same slowness problem and when I went back to an earlier version I had this right click problem as well. I went back to the new version but it's not optimal, it's a big problem, sierra is currently unusable. kris |

Make sure you are on the most recent release (v 2720). In versions between 2701 and 2718 there were changes to the "timers" that caused some people issues. With 2719 and above, the default is to go back to the original OS timers that were used, so you should not see any performance difference (except maybe increases) if you update to 2720.
