Hi I'm having trouble with the Trade Activity Log. It doesn't show new entries for opened nor closed trades unless I click refresh. This happens for both simulated and live trades. I've spent a couple of hours trying to follow similar issues on the support board, but no solution has resolved the problem. The last entry from my Trade Service Log is: 2024-12-10 21:03:49.778 | TradeActivity files query time: 0.004952 seconds. Entries: 196. Current queries: 1 I've tried setting the date time to just today and also the symbol/account to both single symbol/account and all - no joy. Any ideas what I am missing? Thanks for your time |

Looks like this may have been resolved for the simulated trades by deleting the Simulated data files from C:\SierraChart\TradeActivityLogs Unable to test the live trades right now |

I am having the same issue. And this is DEFINITELY new. I have been using the trade activity log for several years. I keep it open constantly, on the "Trades" tab. It no longer refreshes when I make another trade. I have to open Display Settings, and simply click OK, and the last trade then shows up. This has never occurred before and just started when I updated to the 2719 version. I haven't touched the settings that I've used for years.It's set to All Activity, All Symbols, Non-Simulated. I went through that link before I ever posted. Didn't make any difference. No code was changed in the activity log, but perhaps it is somewhere in the machinery that fires the event or whatever mechanism you use? I should have mentioned that this does not occur ALL the time. But when it starts, it's consistent. If I shut down Sierra and restart, it usually, but not always, works. The important point is that once it starts, it happens with every trade. But it doesn't get a "spell" of bad behavior all the time. I am going back to an older version to see if it occurs. Will update soon. |

Version 2700 is working perfectly. I will give it a more thorough test tomorrow. But initially, the problem does not appear, even after multiple shutdowns and restarts. Like I mentioned earlier, I ***NEVER*** had this issue, even once, since the day I started using Sierra several years ago. It only started after I updated to 2719, and it started immediately. Will report back soon. |

I posted a separate entry earlier on the support board, and I agree that I "NEVER" had any problems prior to 2700. It is only recently that Activity Log updates now need refreshing. In all prior versions, the refresh was instantaneous and automatic. I tested both 2700 and 2719, last night and again this morning. Same results!

Log is not refreshing on 2720 or 2719. Just to add if you have the log open when there is a change it does not update. If the change happens when the log is closed, it does update when it is opened. The work around is if log is open when there is a change close log and reopen it. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-12-12 21:01:20

2700 Seems to be working for me... at least I never had this issue until 2719. More testing tomorrow during actual trading. Will post results. There is definitely something different. |

We have released prerelease version 2721. We want to know if the issue still exists. And if it does, check the Trade >> Trade Service Log when you expect the Trade Activity Log to update and see if there is any message there indicating the trade activity entry has been filtered. The issue should be resolved in version 2722. There was an issue relating to support for displaying Trade activity for multiple trading accounts in a comma separated list. For example you can type into the Trade Account field, something like this: [account1], [account2], [...] There was an issue related to the internal STL Set for this.
