I run alot of charts on many instances 5 total. High end computer. Didn't change anything on the charts. Only run 1 custom study , Menthor Q levels. Haven't had any issues with the study. 2712 was making windows unresponsive in other instances, and on the charts that would respond there was lag.

Same. I was running a chart replay with the new update, same way I always do. The chart was updating fine but I was unable to click on any chart windows after that, I couldn't pause the replay or close SC at all. Force closed it with task manager and tried it again to see if it was just a one-off. Happened again and I just had to roll back. CPU usage seemed normal as well so I'm not sure what the deal was.

I have updated to 2712. All chart windows of the sub-instances are frozen: Price continues to move in the windows. I cannot move a window, change position, make it bigger or smaller.

Go back to older version!

We observe the exact opposite when running a large number of instances of Sierra Chart. The system desktop is significantly more responsive. Which means Sierra Chart instances are more responsive. In some cases we are running 20+ instances of Sierra Chart. Processing, several hundred thousands of symbols collectively.

No freezing issues or anything like that. No problems at all.

And this is even when dropping the global Chart Update Interval setting to 10 ms.

Try running Sierra Chart in Safe Mode:

We also tested a replay back test just now. And the behavior is the same as we normally observe. Certainly the user interface is not very responsive, but we are still able to interact with the Sierra Chart user interface every few seconds.

Anyway, we acknowledge the reports above but there simply is no technical explanation for them.
