Hello, in the attached chartbook, you can see the volume profile represented as splitted Bid/Ask. If you zoom and read the number you can notice the bar is not proportional to the number into the bar. The bar is calculated as Bid or Ask and the number is Bid or Ask. SO my expectation is the bigger is the ask longer the bar. Instead you can see for example a bas with 74 bid is longer than the previous bar with 81 contract. In addition the proportion is not valid side by side as well. A Bid with 58 contract is larger than the ask with 96 contract. Could you help me to understand if it is a setting problem or a system bug? Thank you Best Regards Claudio |

Hello, thanks for replying. Here the screenshot https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1731490458902.png My goal is to see side by side if, for a certain level of price, bid is > of ask, and color the bar. The length of the bar must remain real (i understood now the length of the bar is = to the longest one between ask or bid). Thank you Best regards Claudio |

It looks like you have both a Numbers Bars histogram being displayed along with a Volume by Price study. If this is the case, then you need to remove one or the other. Having both of them puts them on top of one another and is not really legible.

Correct I have two VbP one for the ask and one for the bid. This allow me to see the ask poc and ask bid separately, and go over the limit of the footprint. Could you implement a function to allow what I need? Thank you BR Claudio |

The reason for the disparities is because you are using a "Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method" of "Dominant Bid or Ask Volume Coloring". This Input not only colors the bar, but also sets the length of the bar based on the setting. We have attached two images with a particular level circled. The image named "DominantSideBidAsk" shows values of 74 on the bid (left) and 146 on the Ask (right) with the "Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method" set to "Dominant Bid or Ask Volume Coloring". The bar length is about the same in this case between the 74 and the 146, as it is displaying the dominant side value of 146. But in the image named "None" with the "Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method" set to "None" the length of the 74 bar is much shorter, as it is only displaying the Bid value of 74. Thanks for fast replying. That is correct. Is it possible to have, in the near future an additional setup in "Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method" that leave the length of the bar based on actual value and change the color based on dominant ask or bid? Actually like in the footprint. This allow me to understand if in a certain zona has been hit more the ask or the bid. On the other hands I require some days ago to have separated poc for bid and ask in the footprint. This would be the answer to my request. Many thanks Claudio |

We would be more likely to update the Numbers Bars study. But as we stated, we can not say when we would get to this.
