[User Discussion] - issues updating to Version 2695 using Crossover

Hello, I'm using Crossover for Mac to run Sierra Chart and have a message stating that I must update to Version 2695 in order to continue using the Trading Evaluator service. I have followed the steps listed here: Software Download: Fast Update to no avail, and continue to get the message "Sierra Chart is up to date. No updates were downloaded" - and I am still on Version 2674. The file path of my Sierra Chart install via Crossover is C:Trading\ I have downloaded the SC installer, selected the path to install the update from, and into - and the update gets about halfway through before freezing up. Do you know if there is any reason this would not work simply due to Crossover?

Unfortunately I deleted the entire application from the bottle within Crossover, and with it, my charts, records, etc. Lesson learned - I didn't have a recent backup of everything. I will need to rebuild.

I would like to mention that Linux could be another option, Linux doesn't run on Silicon CPUs though. I have a 2015 iMac running Linux Mint and a 2016 MacBook running Manjaro since mid 2019, both have WINE installed to run some of the Windows programs, and Sierra works great on both computers, feels like running Sierra natively.
