Change futures symbol on chart

Hi, I am looking to change the symbol on my chart to trade Dax in the London session and I have followed the change symbol settings and this has not pulled through properly. I sent it into support and they said it needs to go to the support board. When i click to go to find symbol the current December DAX futures it gives me is symbol: FDAX1224.EUREX I am in a discord with other traders and i can see from posts that other people trading Dax futures appear to have different symbols on their charts for Dax which are: FDXSZ24 FDAXZ24 I assume they may be different for standard and micro however both are different to the option in the list provided on find symbol for me. I am just looking to set up the futures dax on my chart. Any help you can give me is much appreciated |

There should never be a need to be changing Symbol Settings. We do not know why they were changed if they were changed. We need to understand what the current problem is. Hi, Please see below link as requested. So essentially i was trading CL on this chart but i was looking to just change the symbol to Dax and keep my chart as i set it up so i followed the instructions on the change symbol page on the sierra site. The problem is it doesnt appear the data is pulling through properly on the chart as you will see from the screenshot link below it is very cramped and the chart does not look as it should. It looks like when you have an old contract and the data is very low but it should be the correct one as it is the December contract chosen from the list provided. That data for DAX looks perfectly fine. We are not sure why you state that it does not look correct. The only thing we can think is that you are using a 2000 volume chart, and perhaps that was fine for CL, but you would need to look at what an appropriate volume number would be for the DAX, as it will be different from the CL (as would any other symbol).
