hello,

my fills are marking backwards. they're showing purple (short cover) when i long entry, and pink (short enter) when i sell/exit a long. is this just a glitch or something i need to change manually?

[2] for some reason it's only like this on my rithimic account. on demo the fills are as normal

[3] and short entries are marking correct. so for some reason the colors for long entries and exists are not marking anymore

any info is greatly appreciated. thanks so much

setting it to only show fills for current day only fixes it. but how would i go about fixing it and showing more than one day?

You need to make sure that this Chart Setting:
Chart Settings: Order Fills Start Date-Time (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu)

is set to a time, which is at the start of a new Position.

So use a time in the past, but make sure it aligns to the start of a position. Look at the Trade Activity Log to examine all of your fills:

hmm. i applied a position entry date of 2024-09-11 at 09:31:53 (both circled in red).

all of my old fills are as they should be, but the fills from today are still only one color (short or long same colors)

it is weird because this issue just started happening today when i opened SC after making no changes.

any further help is greatly appreciated

Refer to the information here to understand, how opening and closing fills and the Position Quantity are determined:
Trade Activity Log: Open Quantity Field Calculation Method

Also make sure the setting is set to No:
Chart Settings: Filter Initial Fills Which Are Part of Existing Position (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu)

It sounds like you may be missing an order fill somewhere, such that the fills are not lining up properly. You would need to look through and make sure everything is opened and closed properly. Refer to the following:
