Will this account transfer effect Teton CME order routing?

Just received this letter(attached) from advantage futures. The question is in the title above. Is this account transfer just back end stuff with no effect to sierra?

We apologize, post #2 in this particular case is not accurate. Do not change the Clearing Firm setting due to this move to Dorman. You will still leave this setting as Advantage/Stage 5. Very important not to change this setting!

There is nothing that you need to do but your account number will change.

This is also happening with my accounts at Stage 5 and I have confirmed the move. I've been happy with Advantage...what is the experience with Dorman?

I haven't made the transition yet. I'm still with Stage 5/Advantage. I will call Dorman later this week and get the details. I'll update here when this process happens. Yes, I'm satisfied with Stage 5/Advantage. I wonder if this is happening to everyone?

All Stage 5 accounts with Advantage are being moved to Dorman. It is not going to change the service.

So now that the REAL true has come out.. That Stage 5 has been sold to Global Futures.

SC do you have a relationship with Global? Any effects or changes associated with routing or use of Teton?

Good Question! I would like to hear some actual reviews of Global. I've never heard of Global until today when I received the email from Global and Dorman.

Well, we have a relationship now. There are no changes regarding Teton order routing. Everything will remain the same as it was with Advantage.

The main thing to understand, is our primary point of contact at Stage 5, remains the same even if they are now with Global futures or whatever. So we are working with the same people. Nothing has changed. The migration to Dorman was very graceful. Without issue.

For those effected by this transition. A few things I have been able to learn by doing some research. Margins will be increasing ($990 intra day on ES) Global charges $10 a month to be blessed to have an account with them.

At least it is what is written on their website, yes.

If they are really charging that amount for nothing, I will most probably change my account to another broker!

I would wait until someone has contacted Stage 5 directly and asked if there are any margin changes or new monthly account fees. So far the transfer has been very smooth. It is possible that these changes will not apply to us. Give it a few days.

Yes, I have already emailed Anthony and I'm waiting for his answer.

I'm not in a rush, but meanwhile I'm consulting other brokers as well, just in case...

TBH I also wonder whythere was no information upfront by Stage5. I received my information by Dorman. This has nothing to do with Sierra Chart, I know… but I‘m still wondering why Stage5 did no announcement of this.

I understand what you mean, but often the secrecy in this kind of business is necessary for the deal to go well.

In any case, I already got some feedback from Anthony and I believe there is nothing for us, SC customers, to worry about.

It seems that SC customers are keeping the same conditions they had with Stage 5, including being attended by the same desk team.

So, I would recommend for us to just calm down and wait for more information, after the acquisition is completed.
