Hello, I traded in sim trade on TETON 2nd instance. My daily loss is 500$. Suddenly, my position closed with an impossible price and loss with 1200$. Please see the attached file. It closes MYMZ24 at impossible 42363. But the chart shows 200 points less. I have several charts open, but this one was the only with the failure and without "use global symbol setting" activated. One guy had a similar or same issue with the post "Sierra Chart sim trading exiting positions at impossible prices". I have the current SC version, but still maybe the same issue, as this guy. Do you think the issue is solved by setting the global symbol settings to "yes"? Do you think it can also happen in trading mode connected to the broker? thanks |

I just noticed that the mentioned chart is delayed, as I didnt pay the CBOT access. But the above mentioned exit price is still nonsense.

So you are performing simulated trading? You need to look at what were the prices at the time which filled the order. This includes the bid and ask prices. For more information, refer to: Trade Simulation: How Orders are Filled And the other thing is are you using, the Trade and Current Quote Symbol. ? There could be an issue related to that. We do not know what setting you are referring to: Do you think the issue is solved by setting the global symbol settings to "yes"?
We need to see the order lines from the Trade Activity Log for the order that it has an issue. Yes, simulated, because I am preparing complicated functionality with APEX copy trades and 2nd instance with multiple markets etc.. I want to check the functionality. To answer your question: I have attached the mentioned activity logfile. I dont know why I have two of them for Sim2. The specific trade is marked in the above attached gif: Trade MYMZ wrong close price at 13:03:28 MEZ german time: It shows and reckons 42363. But the real price was around 42163. Your post about: "Trade and Current Quote Symbol. ?" chart settings - symbol - "trade and current quote symbol" is empty. So if i understand you right this setting is ok. If you have time for a 2nd issue I thank you a lot. Otherwise I will open a new thread: in my trade window I have twice the SIM2 account illustrated. I opened 1 contract. here is the gif with regard to my last sentence above. In the marked grey line it shows 172 points profit, but the trade window shows 86 points. When I open the trade account list below SIM2 is illustrated twice. I like sierra very much, so I would like to solve this issue even if it is simulation. Thank you

You are comparing data from two different charts. Refer to:Help With Daily Profit/Loss Value When I open the trade account list below SIM2 is illustrated twice.
Not sure about this, but just simply disregard it. It causes no issue.
