Hi Sierra Chart My broker is IBKR, I'm interested in trading stocks Two question(s) so far... Q1. My understanding is that, to send an order from Sierra Chart to IBKR TWS, I need to manually enter the IBKR symbol into the SC setting first. Otherwise IBKR doesn't understand the SC symbol. My question is whether there's a feature or way to have a map/dictionary between the symbols of SC to the symbols of IBKR? (Or another way to avoid needing to manually enter the IBKR symbol manually) Q2. I see on an earlier thread (85746) that there is not a plan to provide OpenBook or ArcaBook - just confirming if that is still that case? That could be nice to have |

1. This depends on how you are getting your data. If you are getting your data from Interactive Brokers, then you would enter the main symbol for a chart using the symbols that are needed for Interactive Brokers. On the other hand, if you are getting the data from us, then you would enter the main symbol as what is needed for our data (either the standard ticker if using our U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape, or the standard ticker with a -NQTV if using our NASDAQ TotalView), and then you would enter a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" for the Interactive Brokers symbol along with enabling the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol". In this latter case you can also setup the Global Symbol Settings for the appropriate Denali symbols (such as ??? or ???-NQTV) and enter a "Trade/Quote Symbol" that also uses the same special characters. So for the symbol ??? (for the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape), you would enter a "Trade/Quote Symbol" of "???-STK-SMART-USD". Then, whenever you add or change a symbol that has 3 characters, the Trade and Current Quote Symbol will update to the Interactive Brokers symbol. 2. Yes this is true.
