Hi, If I'm using multiple instances at once (3), is it safe/stable to point the 2nd and 3rd instances to the data files in the main instance? What issues should I be aware of if any? Note - I use each instance for separate instruments while trading, but I use the main instance for offline work for all instruments. This therefore creates unnecessary duplicate data files in each instance. Thanks |

It is absolutely not safe/stable to do this. Do not do this. Sierra Chart is not setup to handle this situation, as files would be opening and closing and different data writing and things will get all messed up. Yes, this does create duplicate files, but it is necessary to the way that Sierra Chart works. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
