I am switching computers and transferring SC data from one computer to another. I have the following two questions: 1.) The instructions mention that the scid files do not need to be copied. If I choose to copy them, would that make it easier to load the charts directly in my new installation? Or would transferring the scid files have no impact on the new installation? My understanding is that if I transfer the scid files, I wouldn't have to wait as long when loading my chartbooks for the first time on the new computer. 2.) Should the following specific data files—"UserContributedStudies_64.dll" and "SystemNotificationMessage.html"—also be copied from the original installation to the new one? Yes this is true: My understanding is that if I transfer the scid files, I wouldn't have to wait as long when loading my chartbooks for the first time on the new computer.
No these are not required: 2.) Should the following specific data files—"UserContributedStudies_64.dll" and "SystemNotificationMessage.html"—also be copied from the original installation to the new one?
