Pretty frustrated over here. I have the global risk settings set for my account as shown and the last few trading sessions I've had serious issues with them properly closing out my positions. Please see the settings attached. At times, I also have redundant settings on rithmic but that wasn't the case here. Please tell me what i need to do to get these to work. The last 3 sessions, I've blown a couple evals/PAs due to whatever this issue is. I get locked out of the trade, it's still open, stop losses are gone. I've migrated to SC for these settings. I also made a video, i think from a couple days ago that i could post to youtube, if i can find it Please advise and thanks in advance! D Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-10-01 15:13:02

Your Global Profit/Loss Management is showing that it did try to flatten your position when you hit a loss value of -$750.00. You would need to look through your Trade Activity Log and make sure there was a flatten order sent based on the above. If it was, but your position was not properly flattened, then this would be a Rithmic issue, where they did not properly take care of the order. Refer to the following: Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I'll check it out but this has been an ongoing issue. The problem isn't that it didn't close me out at -$750 it's that it didn't close me out with my "trail daily net profit" setting which should have liquidated my position $2000 higher. I'll check out the tradelog.

According to the information in the image you provided, the Daily Net profit did not reach the trigger value of $1000.00. You need to look into this, and how you are displaying the Profit/Loss in that chart and how it relates to the Daily Net profit that the Global Profit/Loss is using. Refer to the following: Global Profit/Loss Management: How Daily Net Profit/Loss is Calculated for a Trade Account For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

did you see both images? The PNL chart shows I was up nearly 1400 at one point before this mess hit. I'll check out the references you sent and thank you for that, I just wish the GP/LM was a bit more straight forward or not glitchy or whatever this issue is. On the bright side, today it seems to be working well. thanks again |

Here's a screen grab of the log. Look good to you? It just happened again. Thanks for your time

Yes, we understand that the Profit/Loss you show from the one chart shows that it was over $1000, but the Global Profit/Loss Management is not showing that, which is why we are wondering if that graph is showing the same Profit/Loss that the Global Profit/Loss uses, which is why you linked to that specific section. The log only tells us that the loss hit your limit and trading was locked. You need to look through how the Profit/Loss are calculated for the Global Profit/Loss and make sure it is matching to what you are looking at. You should also use the "Trading Profit Management Status" study which will give you text information on the chart showing what the Global Profit/Loss is using. Refer to the following: Trading Profit Management Status For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
