Hello team I absolutely love the large volume trade indicator. I have study in region 2 with OHLC. I'm using the study subgraphs subtract/difference study to subtract the prior bar close from the current bar close essentially giving me a numeric value of the delta. I'm using the study subgraph above below bar as text to display the output. on the bottom of the bar. What I'm really trying to accomplish is to display this value. the same way the large volume trade indicator study works. Can you find it in your hearts to modify the large volume trade indicator so that we can select a. study subgraph reference instead of having it default to Volume? Thank you in advance. |

It is highly doubtful that we would ever change the "Large Volume Trade Indicator" to be used with another study. But we take all requests and maybe, some day, we could put something together that would work for what you are wanting. But, this is something that can be fairly easily done as there are "Variable Size" Draw Styles for subgraphs that can be used with a Custom Study. This does exactly what you want. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Point Variable Size (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_POINT_VARIABLE_SIZE) https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you. I spent the weekend trying to compile Point Variable Size and came up with quite a few entertaining outputs but nothing useful.

Hello John, I'm not looking for you to modify the Large Volume Trade Indicator study - it works great like it is. Can you modify a copy of the study and call it Large Custom Trade Indicator and make an input designed to select an integer study subgraph. In this case, I would point it at the Study Subgraphs Subtract/Difference value that is performing a delta calculation from close[-1] to close on an Add-Additional Symbol study that has an OHLC value. If no, is the source.cpp available? |

Just like any request, we can not say when we would get to something like this. We can definitely tell you that it would not be any time soon, as there are too many other priorities. The code for the Large Volume Trade Indicator is not available. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
