Probably an easy fix. Having trouble connecting to the DTC Protocol Server from another computer ONLY when "Allowed IP List" is set in "Sierra Chart Server Settings". "SierraChartServerAllowedIPs.txt" is supposed to exist somewhere. - I don't see this file anywhere in the Sierra Chart folder. - Searching on Windows cannot find the file. - I tried creating the file and put it both in the main folder and other subfolders but still cannot connect. - Any IP currently works so the connection is allowed when not filtered. - Port is open in the firewall on Windows. - Port is forwarded in my router. - I am unsure of the format on how to list IPs in this file that I attempted to create (What is the delimitation to separate multiple IPs: newline, space, comma, etc.?) Please advise. Thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-09-24 22:10:06

You need to manually create that file and place it into the Sierra Chart installation folder. On each line of the file, put the IP address you want to allow.
