my margin on sierra says $24000. on amp it should be $11000 ( 5 soybean positions) I have questioned Amp and they say it is on your end Their answer (You are going to have to ask Sierra why margins show 24k....probably just a default setting for that contract that can be changed. Margins are currently set $2200 per contract on our end.) |

Where are you seeing this margin value? Please get us an image of what you are seeing by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Attaching or Posting a Screenshot/Image (Optional) Is this while connected to your AMP account? If so, what order routing service are you using with AMP? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

can't post pic as on different computer On the Trade Account Monitor as margin requirement It is when connected. Using CQG as routing with Sierra data. I have shut down and restarted but doesn't change My margin doubled last year when Amp changed to double margin on accounts over $100,000 but never came down after I lowered my account dollars. Double margin would make it $22000 but that still doesn't come out right. It has been like this for quite some time and I haven't traded this account for a while as I don't like double margin. Thanks for help |

Given that you are connecting with CQG, we can not say that the MarginRequirement on the "Trade Account Monitor" is 100% correct. It depends on the information that is sent by CQG. But, in the end, AMP is the one that should be telling you what the margin requirement is. If they have it set to the value that you are seeing, then they are the ones that would need to change it. There is nothing we can do in this case. Keep in mind, Sierra Chart is not going to block trading with CQG due to margin requirements. The order will be sent and then either accepted or rejected by CQG based on what AMP has set for your account. AMP does have support for Teton Order Routing service. If you are only trading the CME Group, or if you want to trade the CME Group with our order routing service and use CQG for other trading, then ask AMP to set you up for our Teton Order Routing Service. Refer to the information at the following link: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Note the Setup Instructions on that page if you are interested.
