Is there a tool (or a way to modify a standard tool) that will provide a horizontal line on the chart a certain distance away from where I click on the chart....for example...click on the high price of the current candle and a horizontal line appears at a user defined distance from where I clicked on the chart. I currently use the Price Projection tool which requires me to click on the chart and then drag the tool to a second point and click on that second point. That requires me to click at the starting point on the chart...then carefully drag the tool a distance away from the first click location to a terminating point...then click a second time at that terminating point to have the horizontal lines stay on the chart. I would like to simply click on the chart one time and have a horizontal line appear at my desired number of ticks away from where I clicked on the chart (e.g., 30 ticks way, etc.). I have looked thru all the SC tools and their settings, but I do not see how I can accomplish what I want. Is there a way to do what I want without having a custom tool created? |

You would have to create a custom study to create the tool you are wanting.
