Hi, They are yesterdays first hour high and low on the NQ. I watch someone on youtube and that's how I noticed they were off. I couldn't see them today on his chart because of the range but they seemed to be yesterdays first hour and low on mine. Let me look tomorrow and I will get back. Appreciate you helping me figure this out. Best, Art |

You have these labeled as the Value Area High (yVAH) and Value Area Low (yVAL). The Value Area is very different from the first hour high and low. How are you getting the information for this, as the Volume by Price does not have support for an Opening Range value.

The Value Are is NOT the first hour's price action. Refer to the following for the definition of the Value Area: Time Price Opportunity (TPO) Profile Charts: Volume Value Area The price action over a certain period of time from the opening of the day is called the "Opening Range". To get this value, use the "High Low for Time Period" study.
