I would like the chart setup to where I can right click on a specific area on my chart and click "set alert" and an alert shows up exactly where my mouse is. How do I do this? I thought to check in the Customize Chart Shortcut Menu but I didn't see anything about creating alerts. It's very difficult to set alerts on this platform. |

Sierra Chart is setup to give you a lot of flexibility. As such, it can difficult to understand how to create what you want, but the capabilities are all there. In order to us to help you, we need to know what are you are wanting to do. Are you wanting to place a price point to be alerted to if the price hits that level, or are you interested in a crossing situation (either from above or below) or is it something else? When we know exactly what you want to do, then we can point you in the right direction.
