SC2677 (just upgraded from 2674) Linux Ubuntu 22.04 kernel 5.15.0-119-generic wine 9.0.0.0 gnome 42.9 I have read about the SC timer changes in What is Sierra Chart Working On | Post: 394194 After upgrade from SC2674 to 2677, CPU consumption of SC is around 73%. This is independent of the General Settings >> Update Intervals >> Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds I am using 250ms. The CPU consumption does not change if I set it to 500ms or 1000ms. This is as of now, where all trading is halted and there is no incoming data or any chart updates. Actually I do not know what the CPU consumption was with SC2674 and prior. But it was so small that I never took notice of it. Certainly <25%, which is some kind of threshold where I would start noticing anything "unusual" also for other programs. So, is this high CPU problem with the new SC version specific to Linux/wine? Did you test the new timer implementation in SC under Linux/wine? |

The timer change was reverted in version 2677. There are no differences related to performance. None. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
