Hi SC: I just updated to the latest version of SC 2674 using the instructions here: Software Download: Installation and Upgrading Instructions When I open the new version of SC, it takes me to my old Rithmic data feed and old Apex account. It also loses my latest chart settings. I then updated my data feed to my Teton order routing and Philip Capital account, however, my chart settings are still lost. I am using Crossover on a Mac in case that is relevent. Perhaps I needed to have selected the same Crossover Bottle as my lasted charts are in, in order for my chart settings to carry over? Please see attached errors I got in case that is useful. How do I get my chart settings back? thanks |

We can not speak to how Crossover works as we are not familiar with it, but the statement "Perhaps I needed to have selected the same Crossover Bottle as my lasted charts are in, in order for my chart settings to carry over" makes us wonder if you updated the correct installation, or if you are running the correct installation. You should definitely be updating the installation that has your latest charts in it. Apart from this, refer to the following for how to restore backups of your configuration file and your chartbooks (again, this assumes you are in the correct installation of Sierra Chart): Resetting Sierra Chart to a Default State / Restoring Backup Global Configuration File: Restoring Backup Global Configuration File Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you I have managed to restore my charts with the Sierra4.config file from my old version of Sierra Chart_C to the updated version 2674. However, my latest study Anaylsis settings are missing. What is the name of the backup file that contains my study Analysis settings? See attached image of what I'm looking to restore. Thank you! |
