Have noticed on multiple occasions, the symbols added to the Control Bar Watchlist (drop-down menu) , dont stay permanently. They seem to change/disappear! eg, I add a bunch of tickers to the watchlist..even without a restart, I'd find, just 1 ticker on the list, after some time!? they seem transient entries based on some criteria than staying intact permanently?

Are these different from Chart->Associated Watchlist ?

pls advise, Thanks

You cannot add symbols directly to that list. You can only at the symbols through the Chart >> Associated Watch List.

The symbols available in the watchlist on the Control Bar are going to change based on the current selected chart. Each chart has it's own watchlist and that is what is changing.

Oh I see, thank you. Can I not have a global watchlist, for the whole chartbook and not individual charts?

I just want a single watchlist, thats persistent across charts.

No, this is definitely not supported. But you can import and export symbols to/from the chart Associated Watch List.

Ok thanks, will do that.. Might benefit users to have such a global watchlist per chartbook.
