ok, but i do not want to modify the whole chart's volume settings; i want to add a CumDelta study that uses trade size >x does this mean i need to set up a [background] chart and reference it using Study Overlay? |

in addition, i have Alert code in the destination chart that i want to use on the CD >x study. please advise on how to do this if the study is located on another chart. in other words, i would like a CumDelta chart based on trade size >x and apply alerts to it, but i do not want the rest of the chart to have any trade volume filtering.

furthermore, i am using constant-volume charts and the studies do not match up due to the bar start & end times being different (once the volume is filtered). isn't there an easier way to accomplish what i want without overlaying studies? can you simply build in a volume filter for the Study, but not for the whole chart?

Very simply set the alert on the source chart or on the Study/Price Overlay study on the destination chart. furthermore, i am using constant-volume charts and the studies do not match up due to the bar start & end times being different (once the volume is filtered). isn't there an easier way to accomplish what i want without overlaying studies? can you simply build in a volume filter for the Study, but not for the whole chart? This complicates things significantly and we offer no advice for this.
