Hello there Single sierrachart working. My calculations are on standart spreadsheet study. Can a cell value of it be referenced from a "spreadsheetSystemForTrading" cell ? (A simple way that does not require acsil programming ) Have a nice week |

There are ways to do this, but you have to be careful. The most important thing is that you need to ensure that the Spreadsheet Study and the Spreadsheet System for Trading are using different filenames for the actual spreadsheet that you are saving with each study. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Spreadsheet Name / DLL File and Function Name If you have the spreadsheets setup correctly, then the subgraphs from the Spreadsheet Study will be displayed in the Spreadsheet System for Trading, just like any other study. So as long as the cell you are wanting to reference is one of the subgraphs, you can then access that information. Actually, the Spreadsheet Study study cannot see either of the other two spreadsheet studies' subgraphs. But the other two spreadsheet studies can see the Spreadsheet Study study's subgraphs. So if you want to reference a subgraph of the Spreadsheet System for Trading study, or the Spreadsheet System/Alert study, use the the Spreadsheet Formula study as an intermediate study, like this in its Formula field: =ID3.SG6 Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-09-10 00:28:44

The information in Post #3 is correct. The Spreadsheet Study will not display the information from the Spreadsheet System for Trading. But the opposite will still work - the Spreadsheet System for Trading will have the information from the Spreadsheet Study, so if you are needing to reference the cell from the Spreadsheet Study in the Spreadsheet System for Trading, then what we wrote in post #2 will still work. Otherwise, you will have to do what is mentioned in Post #3 of using an intermediary study. Thank you Sawtooth for catching this. Thank you for all answers. Usage of "Overlay OHLC" study also helped for my case as well. This study has 3 level inputs to reference 3 any cell 2 from any spreadsheet/spr.for.trade 1 of any chart So calculation/information of a spreadsheet cell can be referenced by any other spreadsheet or by any spreadsheetfortrade. Transfer between charts of a single sierra instance. Thank you Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-09-11 22:54:30
