This is NOT an immediate need or ask. Hoping you can add it to the pile of "nice to have". When we draw an extending rectangle on an intraday chart we get a rectangle that extends left and right, even if we haven't selected "Double Extend" in the settings. This isn't broken, but instead due to the Date/Time settings of the Anchors tab. It will extend left to the time 00:00 of the chart. I would really find it useful to have a setting (checkbox, or other) that allows me to set that start time to the time of the bar at which I click to insert it. I would assume this could be done via a custom drawing tool, but I haven't started learning how to program my own, so that's a guess. I wish there were some other place we could drop this type of suggestion without clogging up your more-important bandwidth. |

Something is not correct with the way you have your "Extending Rectangle" configuration setup. By default, the Extending Rectangle will start at the point you first select and then will extend to the right or left depending on where your second point is placed (i.e. if the point is to the left of the first point, the extension will be to the left, and if it is to the right of the first point, the extension will be to the left). It sounds like you have the option for "Use Start Time" set to "0" in the configuration you are using for the extending rectangle. This will force the first point to be at midnight (00:00:00) instead of where you actually place it.
