Hello, I have a spreadsheettradingstudy that is 2000 rows and has 60 formula columns. It's nothing too complicated, just references indicators study and doing basic sum or >< calculations for buy/sell conditions. It was working fine with a calculation time of about 40-60ms on average but I tried enabling the send orders to trade service to yes. Ever since then the calculation time on the spreadsheetstudy has shot up to 4000ms. I have tried resetting SC, My computer, Lowering the # of chart days down to 2 days, shrinking the # of rows on the spread sheet (this does lower the calculation time but it is still very high). Is there something I can do to fix this issue? Thank you! |

This could not be the reason: but I tried enabling the send orders to trade service to yes. Ever since then the calculation time on the spreadsheetstudy has shot up to 4000ms.
The first thing we recommend you do is to examine all of the Cells that contain data in the Sheet in the Spreadsheet, and remove anything that is unnecessary. There may be some data or formulas that you are not aware of that is causing extra calculation time. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
