I need help getting a spreadsheet formula to limit its calculations to only bars that occurred on the same day. I want to get a daily total to compare with other days. I'm using a spreadsheet formula study with the "sum" function, but currently I am simply limiting the range of the bars to count and manually checking the value at the end of the day by moving the chart to display the last bar of the day at the very right edge of the screen. I'm using the formula: sum(ID175.sg1[0:-2591]) for a 10 sec chart. How can I update this to calculate a day's worth of bars based on my set market hours or a "time range highlight" study? |

You can not use the Spreadsheet Formula to do what you are wanting. It is simply too complex for that study. You would have to use the Spreadsheet Study to do this, or create a custom study.
