Font Size and Font Adjustment Changes

Did you guys recently change the way fonts are changed? It seems the "Chart Drawing Properties" for text now brings up a new Window.

Anyway, I attempted numerous times to change both the font and the font size, but they all failed.

> Add Text to chart
> Right click and select Chart Drawing Properties
> Click Font (Action) area
> Click Select
> Choose Bold - Nope doesn't work
> Choose a different size - Nope doesn't work
> Choose a different font - Nope doesn't work

Each time after making the changes I clicked apply.

These new windows Sierra Chart is now using suck and are not as usable as the previous Window configurations. Hopefully this is just a stepping stone to a more modern / advanced platform to come, otherwise the new Product Manger needs some UX classes.

Through this rant, I figured out that we now need to set "Use Drawing Specified Font" in order for any changes made to take effect. Again, not very user friendly design, nor do I see how this has improved anything.

Update to the current version of Sierra Chart:
Software Download: Fast Update

You can set "Use Drawing Specified Font" to be the default by changing the Text Drawing configuration:
Chart Drawing Tools: Drawing Tool Configuration

For new installations of Sierra Chart, this will be the default. It will be Yes by default. In the next release if you change the font on an existing drawing, Sierra Chart will automatically set this to yes.

In the next release changing the font will just require a single click.

We are certain, over time you will see the major improvements that these new settings windows bring, and a lot of the enhanced functionality that may not be apparent right away. And any small issues will be corrected and improvements will be made.
