Current Bid ASK Volume Histogram Unreadable Due to Opening Bar Size

Can you please direct me to the solution or a work around to the fact that my DOM "Current Bid ASK Volume Histogram" is always unreadable because the opening volume bar is so much larger than all the other bars that it shrinks the scale of all the other bars to the point of being unreadable even after I expand the horizontal axis? I assume everyone has this same problem?? Thx

The easiest solution is to scroll the chart so that the bar that is giving you a problem is not displayed on the screen. Then the scaling will only be based on the data that is present at that time.

The other solution is to adjust your scale so you can see the data you want and ignore that one outlier.

Is there a way to adjust the scale of just the "Current Bid Ask Vol" in the DOM?

Also, is there a way to get data text to show on the "Current Total Traded Volume" column in the DOM? Thx

Sorry - we were thinking of the Cumulative Volume, not the "Current Bid/Ask" column in the DOM.

The best option would be to "Clear" the Current Bid/Ask data after the initial open so you can remove that data and then go forward from there. Refer to the following:
Trade Menu: Clear Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume (Trade menu)

Another thing that can help would be to expand the size of the profile in the columns. The default setting for the longest bar is 70%. You can extend this 100% in order to take up the entire column width. Refer to the following:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Maximum Volume Bar Width Percentage (Global Settings >> Chart DOM Settings >> Other >> Other Settings)

And, what you are already doing - expanding the width is the other option.

Is there a way to adjust the scale of just the "Current Bid Ask Vol" in the DOM?

No, there is not a way to do this. The setting given above for the length of the volume bars is per chart, and will affect all the columns in that chart.

Also, is there a way to get data text to show on the "Current Total Traded Volume" column in the DOM? Thx

We are not understanding this question. If you add the "Current Total Traded Volume" column, you will get the sum of the Current Traded Bid and Ask data. Are you not seeing this displayed when you add the column?

Correct, the histogram shows up, but the numbers for each bar are absent.

Thank you for the suggestions on the large volume bar histogram skew issue. Do you know of any developers who have programmed a fix for this issue? I tried reaching out to the people on your 3rd party list, but I have not heard back from any - many of their links appear to be "dead" at this time.

We do not know of any programmers that have done anything about that histogram. They would not be able to adjust the actual histogram in the "Current Bid/Ask Volume" columns, but they could create a new histogram in one of the "General Purpose" columns.

We will have to look through the links. If the link is actually bad, we will remove it, but we can't do anything if someone does not respond.

With regards to the values not showing, refer to the following setting:
Chart Settings: Hide Volume Numbers From Current Traded Volume Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Display Items menu)
