Hi I've been having troubles of placing orders. When price is at (for example) $100, and I hit "Sell Bid", the order Sierra sets for me goes like "Sell $102", so I don't get a fill. It happens to both buy and sell sides. I was using sim and the preset buttons on trading panel, and I was trying to trade US securities. What could be the reason that the "ASK/BID" prices are different from current price? I have data package 12 and NASDAQ Totalview. Thank you! |

Before submitting the order check the current Bid and Ask prices through Window >> Current Quote Window.

Thank you! Yes, that's the problem, it stopped at a pre-market time, and it has something to do with my symbols. The symbol problem is: When I set the "Trade and current quote symbol(action)" like xxx-STK-SMART-USD, the quotes don't work in real time. But when I remove the format and send orders to IBKR, the orders don't go through without proper format like adding "USD". What could the problem be? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-07-17 14:37:44

Set the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol" on that page to "Yes".
