Start of day set to 17:00:00, global timezone is Chicago CST, current time is 17:02:00 and its showing yesterdays P&L.

From the documentation for "Start of Day" on the Global Profit/Loss Management: The Daily Profit/Loss values within each chart for a particular Symbol and Trade Account, have their own start of day setting for resetting the Trade Statistics based upon the Session Times. So that can be different than this Start of Day setting.
