I just started using the chart calculator tool to determine how many ticks between two selected points and I was wondering if there is a way to edit what information is displayed (see screen shot) there is a lot of info that i don't need. I just want to see the amount of ticks.

For an already existing drawing, you adjust these in the "Drawing Properties" window. Refer to the following:
Chart Drawing Tools: Chart Calculator Configuration

To setup a specific configuration ahead of time, you modify the configuration that you will be using. Refer to the following:
Chart Drawing Tools: Drawing Tool Configuration

And refer to the following for how to create a control bar button that selects the drawing tool and configuration:
Chart Drawing Tools: Creating Control Bar Buttons which Select Drawing Tool and Drawing Tool Configuration in One Step

The Chart Calculator line color is defined in the Properties/Configuration. There is an entry for "Line Color".
