Hi, I just donated $6 for worthless indexes because SC couldn't provide a list of symbols in advance. But within your "Find Symbol" feature, there is a section that states; Cash Indexes (Non Realtime). Is there any possibilty of getting Realtime data for the Cash Indexes (Free or Payable) because what good does Non Realtime data provide? Thank you.

What indexes do you need real-time data for?

The indexes that say non-realtime, there is no possibility of getting any real-time data for those. And we may remove data for them altogether.

I am getting realtime data for SPX and VIX, in the $6 CBOE package. What exactly are you trying to get in realtime, that you can't?

Ultimately, I would like access to all of the symbols within the "Cash Indexes" but it's not possible. Within your "CFD-FXCM" list, I noticed that you have symbols for the Major Indexes but the Dow Industrials is missing. Is it possible to add by any chance? Thank you.

The Dow Jones is represented in the CFD data from FXCM. The symbol is 'US30'.

The Dow Industrials covers a different sector and TradingView offers it for free on their website along with many other free Indexes. Is SC not able to provide?

Yes obviously, along with NAS100 and SPX500; however, they are CFDs, and not the cash indexes.

In that case, is it possible to receive the Dow Industrial CFD? Thank you.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I need the Dow Industrial Index, but I guess it's not possible. Thank you for your time.

After a closer look, your US30 is somewhat similar but not exact to the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI). But when you click on "Indices" within the TradingView website, they offer so much Free interesting real-time data that can be very useful to traders. Hopefully SC can provide the same one day. Thank you for considering.

what you could do is have the trading hours of US30 CFD in SC same as DJI trading hours. that will be very close to what you're seeing on tradingview.

US30 and other CFDs are NOT reliable as a proxy for the real cash indexes, as they work on a rollover cycle similar to futures. For example, as the last day of the June contract is trading this morning and into September, US30 is trading at a 100 point premium to where it was yesterday, relative to YM futures. This throws a lot of things off.

Also, I take back what I said. After further analyzing, the "CBOE Global Indexes" does offer some interesting symbols as well. But the more symbols we can get, the better chance of new discoveries.Thank you.

Also, I just noticed that any symbol labeled with "Russell" is not producing any data. I tried adjusting my chart settings with no success. Is there an issue or a possible fix?

Can you please give us one symbol (the exact symbol you are entering for the chart) for which you are not getting any data.

Market data for Russell indexes is not provided. That is a separate exchange fee and a separate offering which we are not going to provide. We will make sure the symbols are not listed.

You currently have FVX, TNX, and TYX in the CGI data (5y, 10y, 30y yields). Is there any possibility you can add the 2y yield as well? Having 7y and 20y would be great too but just having the 2y would really round out the short end of the curve.

Does the CBOE offer this symbol. If so, it should already be listed.

Inexplicably, while they have every other index under the sun, they do not seem to have it. :-/

Any news regarding the obtaining from the exchange of the historical data all the way back to 2016? In particular VIX and VXN?

We have just tested a sample of the Data and it was deemed acceptable, however there are a lot of competing projects ongoing. so we can't give you a precise timeline on this.
