Is there a way to link accounts that have same order routing (Rithmic) across different brokers and servers using the Order Allocation to Trade Account function? I only see the accounts that are listed under one broker/clearing firm when using the Order Allocation to Trade Accounts function.

The "Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" only works with the accounts that are available under the service login that is used in that instance of Sierra Chart. There is no support for accessing other accounts.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I understand. Thank you. Why does Sierra recommend Teton order routing? I have Teton and I think its great order routing, probably the best compared to CQG and Rithmic with regard to slippage. I was considering switching to Rithmic because I want to use their R Trader Pro app to set limit loss as a layer of protection in addition to the limit loss that can be placed in Sierra Chart. What do you think about that?

Teton Order Routing is our own order routing service. We developed it, and we connect directly to the CME for the trading. As such, we can control how it functions, and we have made sure that the issues that we have seen with other vendors were not repeated. We definitely do not recommend changing to another order routing service. There are issues with each of them. With regards to a loss limit on Teton, check with your broker and see if they can do this for you. It is available, but not all brokers are supporting it. Okay, I understand. Yes that makes sense. I will keep Teton. Is there a way when I do set a limit loss in Sierra Chart that I can't disable it easily by restarting the program? Maybe there is a program that can be written for that or something else that can be done. Thank you.

I have AMP they won't set a personal limit loss only their 80% limit loss which might as well be 100% limit loss as far as I'm concerned

I want to keep Sierra Chart open and not be able to shut it down so I can't so I can't disable my limit loss. Maybe there is a code I can write so that when I do have to shut down Sierra Chart and I have to reinstall it?

I do this like you describe -- but it takes a third party add-on (I use "local trade copier" from Simple System Trading) to achieve this result, and having multiple copies (not instances at least for me, as I work better with the copies) of SC open (still all valid within the data and SC licenses). |

John, I just want to check and see if "The "Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" only works with the accounts that are available under the service login that is used in that instance of Sierra Chart. There is no support for accessing other accounts." is still the case or has SC come up with a solution. Many users have multiple accounts across brokers and or different propr firms....the ability to have a copier that goes accross all service providers would be a huge addition. Mike |

It is still the case that the Order Allocation to Trade Accounts only works with accounts under a single login.
