is there a way i can set up a control panel which allows me change the colour of a drawing and the fill colour, the colour of a line, the width of a line, etc pls? i'm looking for short cuts rather than having to go into the properties of each drawing everytime

There is nothing of this sort in the software. But there are shortcuts that can be used for a drawing. For instance, you can right-click on a drawing and have options to select the Color, Line Style, and Line Width from that menu. Just make sure they are added to the Chart Drawing Shortcut Menu by selecting "Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Menu". These are in there by default.

ok, let me explore this another way with you as i have a stream deck and can add hot keys for each action i want... are there shortcurt keyboard keys i can press instead becasue if there are i can make them into hot keys

There are no Keyboard Shortcuts that allow you to change a specific property (such as color, or width). What you can do is have different configurations that are set to a specific set of options. Then you can quickly change between those different configurations.
